Walk of Memories at American Legion Post 201 in Alpharetta, GeorgiaWalk of Memories is the only memorial of its kind in Georgia, paying tribute to those who served in conflicts, including the Indian War, WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq and Afghanistan.
Wandering the grounds, you will find almost 8,000 bricks inscribed with the names of Georgians who served in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines and Coast Guard. Those bricks represent those killed in action, those who died of wounds, prisoners of war, sons of the Legion, as well as friends and family.
Monuments along the walkway spotlight several conflicts, including WWII, Korea and Vietnam. Because of the donations from families, friends and organizations, you will find this to be an unforgettable experience.
