How to get involved

Have a great idea for how to apply computing to humanities but you work in the humanities and need to partner with someone who knows computing? Below are steps for starting a digital humanities project from the "what if?" stage.

1. Write it down. Start committing your idea to paper or pixels. Explain what you want to do and what you think is needed. Don't worry about all of the "then magic happens" parts that you might not know how to execute.

2. Once you write it down, the next step is to flesh it out The DHLab at Yale has a great Get Started page including a Project Planning and Design Toolkit and the Lean Canvas worksheet can help you think through your project. Don't worry about filling it out all the way but at least look at it and then,

2. Request a meeting. Send a request to the Digital Humanities Lab @ GGC to request a consultation.
